Unit 4: Chipa Recipe by Martina Viglione 4th B morning shift

Martina brought us Chipa's I am sharing it with all of you...try it and tell me if they were good!!!!


  1. Tapioca Starch ( harina de mandioca) 1 kg
  2. Eggs 6
  3. Butter 200 grs
  4. milk 500 cc
  5. shredded cheese 200 grs ( queso rallado tipo Sardo)
  6. firm cheese (queso tipo Mar del Plata) 200 grs
  7. salt ( a little)
Mix all the ingredients. The Butter must be soft. Knit the dough and make little balls. Bake them in hot oven.

Chipas are small balls of cheese bread made from tapioca starch. They are quick and very easy to make. You could even make the dough ahead of time and keep it in the freezer.
